Orthodontic Trays
Aligner-type dental braces, also known as aligners or orthodontic trays, are a modern and aesthetic alternative to traditional dental braces with brackets and wires. These are transparent orthodontic devices made from a special plastic material used to correct teeth alignment.
Orthodontic trays provide an efficient and discreet option for correcting orthodontic issues, offering multiple advantages over traditional dental braces. Consulting with an orthodontist is recommended to determine if this method suits your specific needs.
Aesthetics
Being transparent, they are almost invisible, making them a popular choice for adults and teenagers concerned about aesthetics.
Comfort
Without wires or brackets, aligners are usually more comfortable and are less likely to irritate the gums and cheeks.
Removability
They can be removed during meals and for oral hygiene, allowing for easier cleaning of both teeth and aligners.
Customized Treatment
Each set of aligners is specially made for the patient based on dental impressions and a digital treatment plan.

About orthodontic trays

How They Work

The process begins with an initial assessment and digital scans or dental impressions to create a 3D treatment plan. The patient receives a series of aligners that need to be worn for approximately 20-22 hours a day, each worn for one to two weeks before moving on to the next set. Each set of aligners applies controlled pressure on the teeth, gradually moving them to the desired position.
